Good work on getting 2nD Jakob. When did they put the results up? I wouldn't mind knowing what place I got.

I don't think they have yet. I was there eating a sausage when they were adding it up and let Jason know. I don't know how anybody else went though.

There must be some pics ready to go up by now. Don't be shy, post them up.

2 1/2 hours to get home to Logan this morning. (It only take me 1/2hr to get there normally) Woke up to here that the cold coast got 300mm of rain last night and slept through the hole thing.. Every road we took was flooded or had a land slide.....
But the weekend was fun. The only thing I damaged was the gear box.. Can't change gears to well and I have know reverse..... so plus that and the flooded roads It was not a fun trip home

I hope you can fix it cheaply.

Yes, I was thinking that.

I just found out who it was and it was a life or death situation. They just stuck the front tyres in and the current was so strong it just dragged them in. (He won't be doing that again) It was at the creek on Old Ormeau Rd. It rose a long way extremely quickly.

There were kids on the roof for about an hour so it was extremely scary. The guys mate who was in the vehicle behind them walked in a very short distance to try to get to the kids and woosh, down stream and under water he went. Because he went straight down and not to be seen again until he walked back everybody thought he was drowned. He was extremely lucky that he was able to get to the surface and grab onto some lantaner(spelling). He obviously got cut up but was ok and proceeded to help with the rescue.

They in the end, tied snatch straps around the kids and threw them to the bank. After everybody was safe they had to cut the snatch straps holding the vehicle steady because it was starting to drag the recovery vehicles in. At the end of the day they were able to get the vehicle out.

It is a good time to thank the SES for coming to help. One got smashed against a bull bar so he will be very bruised. Other people also helped.

First time to see a comp. Had a ball, thanks to everyone involved in organising, and to all the competitors for putting on a fantastic show. We will certainly be back again. :D
No prob from the competitor side... we enjoy putting on the show, specially if we don't break em...

My thanks also to the organisers, i had a ball and only a hop, skip and jump from home. Looking forward to the next one.

If the scores are correct I think you have the record for the worst score on a stage being -8. What happened there?
