Cristian once agin you guys forget,
minus 1point for stopping
minus 1 point for revs
minus 1 point stacking
minus 2 points removing things outer the way points taken off for who had bigger then 33"
points taken for twin AIDED diff's MUST have one open
minus 20 points for chicken run [ in other words going off the offical track]
If i remember correct you had no turning circle and you did shit loads stopping reves, you gotta use forwad gears, or perhaps buy something that has tight turning circle. Look at bruce he came third i think he did well with turning.
Everyone got scored even across the board fairly and squarely.

Ask Brenden, maybe send him a private message. He is the one who started this thread.

you make me laugh.

1. first of all it's a bit unprofessional for a marshal to say " you got a shit ........." - it's enough to say you got penalties for stop/reverses

2. Luke probaly one of the few guys out there who's been honest enough to abide by the rules and the spirit of the comp since it started. He's only ever used one diff lock, and he's been one of the most vocal in calling for the mandatory visable disabling of a second locking device in that class. If he saw you talking this way i'd be very surprised if he manages to hold back.

3. Since when does someone get 150+ points for a stage? I was under the understanding that the maximum was 100. Not only that i've never ever heard of a comp giving minus points for a stage. Otherwise you would be better off just skipping a stage to get 0 points. Kinda defeats the avago attitude we all like to foster doesn't it?

Edit: I'm not saying that you gave Luke penalties for all the listed types but and i'm not even disagreeing with them. But from all accounts and from the past events i have attended i've been somewhat bemused by some of discrepancies in the scoring and results

Len turned up to watch the buggies but ended up Marshalling. He scored fairly and then handed the sheets in, on his sheet it didn't have the scores. He deducted points for those that had a locker and LSD and had talks to people who had lockers front and rear. Len did not make the rules and did not add up the scores.

If you don't make the first checkpoint but you have stops and reverses you can go negative.

who the F**K do u think u are putting down other people 4x4s,
this isnt tuff trucks, everyone is out for a laugh and a bit of fun, we DONT need people like u giving negitive comments,

other than that, now someone has given rules we can abide by them, i was under the impression that most of u were, like the 2nd track, track was 90 points if u did the bonus line that was 10 points giving u 100 point,

happy wheeling, look for to seeing you all next time

All fair enough. Look i'm not going to get too involved as i wasn't there. It may well have been nothing to do with Len, but somewhere further up the scale. I can say that i've been a little curious about the scores from the events i have been to, and not just mine (in case you think it's just sour grapes)

As far as negative points are concerned. Well that's pretty daft. You may as well just DNS the stage, and what's the point of that. Zero should be the limit of penalties.

He is the Marshall that people are accusing of being unfair. It is best if you edit your post.

whoah there fella. we appreciate the thought and i think there needs to be frank discussion but there's no need for name calling. Len was a marshall, not a driver. I'm pretty sure he was also just pointing out what he thought was a drawback for Luke, He just wasn't very tactful about it. And god knows i know what it's like not having a flair for tact :D

k thanks for clearing that up, i just dont understand why he would be putting people cars down, "like get a car with a better turing circle" or "you got to use forward gears"

im not the type to arc up at this sort of situation, but i just find it a tad unsportsmen like,
hasnt changed my mined on the comp, great much of blokes i met out there and will be out there for the next round

bit more organisation would be good i think we all amy agree?

on the day len was a good bloke had a lill talk to him

cheers

Are you the guy that dented his roof 6th dec?? nice truck anyway. And banks001 what is your prob? What have i done to you? I didn't appreciate been abused by two fellow drivers because i took points off per stage for having two aided diff's, they couldn't turn sharp so they had to stop revs alot. Second stage was told 10 30 and 50 points above the rocks, 100point bonus if you drove up and above. ANYONE ELSE HAVE A PROB??????

Well he won't be coming back to Marshall now, why would he? It was his first time to Marshall at this event, he didn't have plans of Marshaling until he was asked to by Brenden on the morning of the event. He did not set the course and did not make the rules. And now you are calling him names.

We are always going to have different opinions on how it should be run. If somebody attacked my integrity I can tell you I would come out swinging also.

As soon as this blows over I want to get back to paying out on Luke for getting negative figures :D

Yeah mate. That was me and my embarrassing five minutes of fame.

I wasn't there for sure, but i read and i listen, and not JUST to the other half of BB Racing. I wasn't upset and i don't think Luke is either about the comments, i've just learnt the hard way about wording my thoughts as we can see from the bunfight that has just gone on. I wouldn't give up on marshalling just on this, I think if you asked around, most people who competed would be glad that you mucked in regardless of whether they agree with your decision since at the very least it allowed them to get out and have a drive.

Have we met? i'm shit with names, but better with landmarks and faces :D When did i meet you on Dec 6?
