Hi there folks thought it was about time I added some shots of my rover and it's transformation.....was a lifted 78' 3.5lt, auto on gas with working power steering, perfect for a buggy! oh and it had some worn 35's on it

out came the grinder and off came the bumpers and rear part of the roof and rear windows...

now time to shorten the chassis and get rid of that old fuel tank

rock sliders and main roll bar in place, this was before I bought my Mig so I had to have the local welders do it...wasn't totally happy with the shape but you get that...didn't follow the lines I'd said but if you aren't there at the time...

fianlly got some good tyres...38" TSL's on flipped offset rims....

time to reinforce the drag link to hold those 38's togeather

double braced with 5mm angle ( which has since failed when it got snagged on a rock and now has an extra piece 0f 50x50x5 box which is working good. )

new stinger bar...made outa some 3mm gal pipe I found at the dump : )
