4.3's from brunswick diesel $300 per diff + shipping which is the killer .

so 4.6 shouldnt be much more.

Worth a try.

i already have 4.3s but need deeper gearing so 4.6s or 4.88s would be ace
but i cant seem to find many people that sell them at a reasonable price

I am looking for the same for my GU build up.

What models did the 4.6's and 4.88's come out in?

Also can you fit GQ centres to GU housings?

Someone told me GU are tougher? True?

Thanks

I'd like some 4.88s for my 2.8 cuz have 33s and want it back to standard gearing on those tyres. Will then have genuine 4.6s for sale.

I dont have weekend tyres, and 33s suck alot of power out of a 2.8 so id like the gearing standard to get some low down power back because as ppl know they lack low down power even on standard tyres.

Now THAT'S interesting!!

Usually, the forces of 'evil' come out and poo poo the very THOUGHT of anything but GENUINE gears!(4.6's as 4.88's didn't come std) Similar to chinese air lockers!! (Even if the past/(current?) ones are crap, they WILL get better. The Chinese are capable of building good copies, and its only a matter of time before WE become smart enough to pick the good manufacturers from the not so good!!

With the diff gears, any place that does V8 swaps in GQ's, particularly V8 diesel swaps like LinQuip, Brunswick Diesels etc.
