What worries me though is that your bush has rotated the wrong way, probably because it's lifted by the RA though.

By the way, I hadn't looked at your build before, very nice job :D
Jack is under the RA pushing it outwards in that pic.

I definately think some tuned sway bars would help.

With the narrow location of the rear coils, the stability would be awful without a sway bar..

Thanks mate. But you'll note that in most pics it's still the rear that does all the work, and you're right, once the car gets on some funky angles it is a little disconcerting.

MICKA - I get the impression though that it's nothing to do with the RA front end. I've had the tyres off and springs out and while nothing like a multi link front it provides more than enough movement. The issue seems to be the relationship between the spring locations and their spring rate. As noted, i cant really go softer front since that is where the weight is and i need to control that, and i can't go harder rear otherwise on a level surface on the road they would may as well be lumps of timber. I ramped it up frontwards at suspension stuff's ramp with a front bolt out of the RA and it still refused to move a great deal.

curiously, when it gets ramped backwards, after the rear runs out of travel the front starts moving nicely and tucks/droops, so that reinforces my thought that i need to control the rear better to try and transfer some of those twisting forces to the front before the rear maxes out.

cheers mate

I'm actually talking to dale to buy one of his torsion bars if i can't find a suitable donor

that pirate one looks pretty trick as well, but i don't know about the unsplined ends. From what i've spoken to engineers about the subject, my original idea to grind the ends into a square is a bit bootyfab as splines are supposed to be way stronger.

Heres a link to a thread on pirate about home made antirock style ones, which has some formulas there too.
