Has anyone heard anymore about the new model patrol?? is there anywhere on the internet about them?

Ive seen some overseas pictures of the wagon but thats about it, wheres the utes, what motors???

I'm curious

Am i just impatient???

Apparently it has a twin turbo diesel V12 and gets better fuel economy than the 3lt 4 cylinder currently in the patrol and 4 times the power and tourqe.

It also weighs less than the current patrol without losing its creature comforts.

It is also independent front and rear (tested at numerouse Dakars) with more travel than any live axle vehicle ever realeased to the public. Oh and I should not forget it has factory lockers. :armsup: JOKES. :lol:

In all seriouseness it will be good to finally see what the new changes are for Aus.

H heard its going to be the "W" config not the "V" config.. and will be around the 5.2ltr, will only come in Manual and will be 1 cylinder.

To give some real info, series 7 GU will be released later this year expect the new model to be around some time late 2011.

Thats direct from someone at Nissan.

Talked to my mate in Bundy today (had the sales rep there the day before) and he said the new patrols will be released in Dubai next year around June, depending on how much stock Nissan still have (in other words if they've got too many older model patrols in stock, we'll have to wait longer)

thanks for the links guys, i didnt like it when i first seen the new patrol few months back but after lookin at this, i think they look quite tough, 400hp that would be nice, nissan could of let out abit more info about them,wonder what the price tag will be :} stil no info on when we will see patrol arrive, typical australia we get everythin last, i still cant see this new patrol out in the bush gettin a bashin but yet it may be alright with some accessories on it, always loved patrols and i think the love affair will still continue :)

im thinking it looks like a hell cross between a New mini(front window,A-pillers and Flutes in guards)
Bodys a Cross between a New Kluger/200 series...and X7 BMW..
front about 10% navara and the rest is that weird looking Nissan Suv for the Yuppies...

I wouldnt get too excited bout that motor, we proly wont get it (knowing the way things go!)

the 200 has a 5.7 in yankee land, yet we get the 4.7 :?

I heard lada had bought nissan out and they designed the new patrol...
