Hey Guys,
Hoping someone with a lifted bt50 might be able to help me out. A mate of mine wants to lift his bt50. But its his first 4wd and his wife's daily driver so they are a bit hesitant as they don't know how different it'll feel on the road.
So was hoping someone with a lifted 50 might be able to take him out and let him have a short drive so he can see how different it would be.
Naturally, theres a 6pack in it. He's in the Blue Mountains but Sydney or surrounds are cool too.
Even some testimonies from those with a 2inch lift would be a help.
Cheers guys

Whos got a lifted bt50
...I'm looking for a solution that involves flogging a dead horse...or cat...
When I bought my BT-50, one of the mods that was done was an upgrade to the suspension.
I may be totally wrong here, but my understanding is that you can "wind" the front torsion bar suspension up around 50mm.
The rear being leaf spring suspension can be raised to suit the weight you are carrying.
Either stiffer springs, extra leaves or air bag.
I am extremely happy with the ride and articulation.
Sorry I am not local so he can see it for himself.
Cheers
