33 mudzillas on a hilux?

Post by cristian »

Hey fellas. In thinking of getting a set of 33 x13.5 on a 16x10 maxxis mudzillas, however I'm not sure how and if they will fit nicely. I'm currently running 2" spring lift n I'll run 2" extended shackles ( and if need b 6 mm wheel spacers from supeerior) I've got a 84 hilux.

I'm just woundering what people have done to make them fit with limitted scrubbing or no scrubbing at all. I've ben told they will hit on my spring when I turn.

Any info would b great. Thanks!

The width of the mudzillas is what stopped me getting a set. 12.5 is fine on my 86 lux, but I think the extra inch of tyre width would cause dramas.
Probably spacers and it would be ok, maybe have a chat to Ryano from Fourbys, or some1 from Superior could shed some light for you.
Make sure you post up how you make em fit.

it will depend on the offset of the rim on how close they are to the spring

Mate Ive only got a 2inch body lift under it at the moment, running 35x12.5x15 BFG muddys, theres very little rubbing on anything, but tyres dont hit the springs.
