I don't know if this will help, or if i'm talking about something completely different to you, but last year my 1990 NG Pajero TDi needed a new pitman arm, idler arm, 2x upper control arms, bushes and ball joints too (if I remember correctly), so I rang around for quotes myself. The prices I got were around the $1500 mark, supplied and fitted. Because I was already planning to have a long range fuel tank and new shockers fitted, I asked the 4WD specialist how much he would charge me to fit this stuff if I supplied it for him. All up (excluding fuel tank, fuel tank fitting, and shockers) he charged me about $450 in labour. Because my good friend is a mechanic, he got me all the parts (excluding upper control arms) which added up to $160. I got the upper control arms from a wrecker for $55 each, so $110. I hope that this helps you, but like I said, im not sure if im talking about something similar to you or something completely different!
