I believe those figures are as-per-stock, as in you can drive x car as long as its (original/fitted) engine does not exceed 195kw.

Here in Tas, L and P platers are not power-limited.

thanks
Your answer is on queensland tranport website google it its gr8 reading.
Not allowed 8cyl or more
No turbo 6cyl
No supercharged 6cyl
6cyl ok if it dosen't exceed 195kw they were going to extend it to 200kw
Turbo 3cyl ok but not to exceed 195kw
Turbo deisel ok but not the v8 and dose not exceed 195kw
So stick any 6cly x-flow in you want as they go well or if one likes holden use the v6.
Then when its done post some pics up!! Happy 4 wheeling.
but it still will need a mod plate and mod plates are a no go for P platers

Go and ask Qld Transport and IF they say it is ok get it in writing on a Qld Transport letterhead and signed by whoever is in charge of that branch.

Because as I have said previously I know someone that aske Qld Transport that question on seats and mod plates and he was told that Mod plates are a no go while on P plates. Now I dn't see him making that up as a) his mother was with him at the time of asking QT and b) the car he had his heart set on getting was mod plated for seats
