Im chasing some tyres to fit to my hilux so that i can get it engineered with the biggest tyres i can.
the NCOP states i can go 1.5 times the width of original tyre width and up to 85%of the tyres aspect ratio so that puts me in the 305/85/16 range which equates to 36.5x12.5x16
so the question is does anyone know where i can find tyres this size ??

i can't find anything in the NCOP about the % of aspect ratio?Bagdad mafia wrote:Im chasing some tyres to fit to my hilux so that i can get it engineered with the biggest tyres i can.

1.5x the width is clearly the max you can go, but the NCOP states that the max overall diameter is: largest original vehicle MFG's tire size + 50mm.
if your truck came with 750x16's that would put you in the 33x12.5 range max, by my math.
you may have a newer version of the NCOP than i do. AFAIK the NCOP is not law.
