RB30 options???

Post by Havoc »

HI Guys
I’ve tried searching here and google for the answer to this question but to no avail. I have an GQ with an Dual fuel RB30 I’m just considering my options as to what to do for a bit more motovation. I want to keep it dual fuel so I guess my question is can I turbo a dual fuel setup easily? if so what would be involved?
I already have the injection gear ready for that conversion and am just wanting to direct my funds in the right direction.
Thanks

depending on how much you want to spend. maybe keep an eye out for some hoons written off vl turbo which is usualy uninsured so could get for a good price. then just do an engine change.

go on boostcruising.com.au there always on there

i has one with a toyota mr2 i think super charger bolted on the side... chargers are worth a few hundred the plumbing and pulls were easy to sort out on an efi rb30.

it made 7psi which was good for a non built up rb30 and it pushed along pretty well.

cheap and easy and effective, was done with a std computer not the vl turbo computer.

I see no reason why it couldnt work well with the gas just get the mixture right.
