Elctric fuel pump on TD42
Elctric fuel pump on TD42
I've got an 89 GQ running a non turbo TD42, i recently fitted a replacement injector pump (GU unit with low km) and am looking at putting in an electric inline fuel pump, has any one got recomendations on what sort to use?
How many people have done this and how's it worked for them?
Mate of mine did his and got a good power jump out of it and just wanna get more info.

I have a 2005 GU pump and am running a electric Facet pump. It works a treat. I have custom water to air intercooler, modified turbo and the fueling is maxed out so I used to get a flat spot about 3000rpm, now it just pulls hard to redline not that you need too.
If your not going to turbo yours you shouldn't need one though.
Alot of guys use the Holly reds with good results too.

apparently carters are better, think it was carter. but then there was a reliability question about them.
i posted in a thread only a couple of weeks ago with a link related to this, it would be worth a read
