Guys,
Tyring to work out how to put a front mount intercooler in my GQ shorty....
I have aircon in it infront of the radiator and a aircon thermo fan along with an auxillery thermo fan for those 'just in case moments'.
Short of loosing my grill all together i have no room for an intercooler and i dont want to run a top mount until i exaust all options of a front mount....
Basically, has anyone cooled the engine with anything other then the engine fan on these motors?
Im thinking of removing the engine fan and putting AU twin cowled thermos on instead so i can shift my radiator towards the motor a few inches.....
Has anyone looked at this sort of thing before? replaced there engine fan with something else?
Is there any benefits to removing the clutch fan power wise? and would tiwn thermos be adequite cooling?
anyones thoughts would be good?
cheers
Screwy

75mm cooler still running air con condensor.
Was pretty tight.
It did help alot but by the time the air passed through the cooler, air con to the radiator it would have been pretty hot.
Had it like that for a few years then moved the air con condensor to under the back with a couple of thermos.
