locking front diff.

Post by vitopatrol »

just abit of a dumb question.

i gotta lock my front diff up, n thinking just welding it up or going mechanical locker.

whos welded up the front diff n happy with that?

i know locking diff will result in many broken cv.

I also would like to know if lsd in front will cause steering issues like welding it up.

I went out with a guy who had a welded front. He drove it hard all day in 35's and didn't break anything. That was in a GQ TB42 wagon.

I was quite suprised, i thought it would have busted a cv first bounce.

DON"T weld it, rear maybe if you're really tight for coin and need it but not the front!

LOKKA's for that were on special for $520 not long ago, I can check for you if need be. Freight is cheap and anyone who can count and turn a spanner can fit them. PM me if you want one, they are about a week out atm as the supplier is waiting on more stock but after that, only a couple of days delivery.
