Ive got the 1985 hj60 and the old 2h motor is a slug, pulls exelent in low range its a good bich but not quick enough ont the flat help me what will just drop in with minimum head pain and wallet rapage?

just slap a turbo on it.. easiest bang for buck surely!

2h Turbo Kit is $3000 plus fitted and tuned.
EFI V8 is about the same amount for way more fun.

you can do a turbo setup cheap if you look out for a cheap turbo on ebay. the rest is basic stuff making air intake and oil likes.

also full 2h kits pop up on ebay now and then around the 1k mark.

keep in mind it still won't be no rocket, and a late model v8 petrol is the go for real power.
