Had a great time again this year I only wish i didn't have to wait another 12months till next TT. Lots of fun at camp
in the nights asside from the tool box who decided it was eeeeps cool to rev the guts out of his v8 wateva every hour till sun up. What a nerd. I hope his engine chucked a leg outa bed on his way home. Otherwise loved it.
Start er up every hour and rev the hell out of it for 30 seconds

Give it a couple days so the TTC crew can confirm results & check scoring. I am sure people will answer in due time posting on every page won't make it happen any quicker ............. chill ...........

I watched the pirates Marble run ,It was probly the best drive i seen
on the weekend ,.
Sure theres more exciting tracks , and awe inspiring ,
But the marbles will tear a car a second bung hole in a wink ,
Nothing but rock.
I reckon they could have had the queen sipping tea in the back of that vit and she wouldn't have spilt a drop during the run .

Just got home from milbrodale, We had an absolute blast all weekend, big thanks Pete for bringing TT back to life and thanks to all the other competitors, congrats to team Pirate, and thanks to team manitou for helping us down off jaw breaker with no brakes and no steering, and to the tree which stopped us rolling end over end down the hill. Hopefully we'll see you all next year.

Tires are like boobs, they always look big until you have played with them for a while, then you just want a bigger set
Re: Re
Oh yeah its all the rave for all those wanker concrete cowboys that go to B&S balls, i got out of my swag and asked him if he was the worlds biggest tool thrasher, he looked at one of my mates and told him he had a nice beard?TimRover wrote: Start er up every hour and rev the hell out of it for 30 seconds
He won the tool thrasher of the year award
Get out there!!
Wow, what an event.
I dont know where to start. I was a little hesitant because several regulars weren't in it this year, with heaps of first timers/new rigs. I was quickly put in my place by the quality of the drives and the carnage. This is the first event I have ever been to where I have lost count of rollovers/lost control drives. Heartbreak ridge is my new favorite track. Rollover after rollover.
I second someones point of not seeing pirate drive, so I too was surprised. But you cant take it away from them. Fantastic effort.
I expected Mal to be up there, thinking about getting points and not losing penalty points (barely used his rear steer, took his time for a controlled drive).
Rhett, what can I say. Being a Qlder (any only just down the road) I was cheering you on every chance I got. I would consider his rig to be one of the lower budget trucks of the wkend, but it just seemed to work. Talking with a few guys after his spectacular effort to get 90 points on heartbreak ridge, it and the mud were apparently the only tracks he didnt complete. Once again, well done, and 3rd for your first time is something to be very proud of!
Congrats too to the Advanti boys. I think they were the only ones to finish heartbreak ridge! (correct me if I am wrong). It was a fantastic drive that looked relatively easy considering the rollovers this track produced.
Pete had said across the wkend that he had never broken the OPW truck before. Well hasnt Taz got some explainging to do Off the top of my head he did a power steer pump (maybe 2) and a steering shaft. And just before finishing the jawbreaker he blew up the rear-right portal Which in turn stuffed the shock, rear steering links and most likely a control arm. Very expensive!
Team Powerful4x4... I did my best to follow them around to see their drives. I had a chat to the driver on friday afternoon and he was telling me he is only there to entertain and go hard. Yeah yeah, sure sure! I think these boys were trying to be the first team to roll on every stage! If their truck was stronger they would have given it a red hot go. I hope to see these guys again next year with stronger components but the same attitude. I loved it!
I brought a digital SLR with the intention of taking pics, but the beer got in the way and I couldnt be bothered! Im sure there will be some fantastic shots. I WILL be buying the DVD this year, because the entertainment will be second to none!
Well done Pete on taking over the event. And for the first time running it, I think you exceeded our expectations. When the thread opens up for constructive criticism and opinions ill be giving mine on a few things but on the whole, a huge improvement on last year.
To the people that got hit by the falling tree, I hope your doing okay! Unfortunately gum trees are prone to losing limbs (rather large ones!) although they look healthy. It was a freak accident that unfortunately is unavoidable. Hope you guys make it back next year at 100%.
Thanks must also go out to the people who took me to tuff truck after my planned trip with mates from QLD unwound the day before! Ros and Chris, thank you for going out of your way to take me. I have made some new friends thanks to outerlimits and a half way house when I am coming down next.
cheers

The web designer is in Thailand for 2 weeks, so hopefully Pete can drag him away from the ladyboys for a couple of hours to post up the results ASAP!!brooksy wrote:Killanmaul Custom wrote:Is there anywhere where i can get a list of reults? There's nothing on the Tuff Truck site for results...
