Yeah i bought a set second hand years ago and had to pull the reflector out to work it out. I thought that HELLA would be a bit more user friendly being in the top 5 light manufacturers in the world.

Are they normal globes? (blobes :?
If so it wouldnt matter what way around they are wired, all that will be an issue is if one wire goes to earth. That would just blow your fuse.

Because the whole housing is the earth on a rallye4000, hence having power running to the wrong wire would energise the housing and hit earth straight away blowing the fuse.

i had mine wired up back to front at one stage and i couldnt figure out what was happening and i was told that the globes do have a positive and a negative side and if you wire them up backwards you will blow the fuse every time so make sure you have them wired up properly
