the cross 8 utes and wagons ran the 5.7 but ran the 4L80e, that would be the heaviest car they make.

Re: LS1 gmv info
I don't believe this to be correct. I was of the understanding that no Commodore based vehicles came with the 4l80e. Possibly the slightly beefier 4l65e, but I'm happy to be proven wrong because chances are it would be a cheap source of otherwise expensive transmissions.crankycruiser wrote:the cross 8 utes and wagons ran the 5.7 but ran the 4L80e, that would be the heaviest car they make.

I think that the chev silverado 1500 ran a 4l60e but not 100%. i know the 2500 went to a 4l80.
Also pretty sure the cross8 was still a 4l60. What about the holden 1 tonner?

thanks guys
red book sorted it out the engineer wants the GMV of the car the engines coming out of to be not less than 120kg than the car its going into.
I had the figure for the vy one tonner as 2826 which was correct but the figure i had for the 2.8 gu was at 2960 but the redbook had it back down 2900, so i should be right!
