painting rims

hey everyone ive got a set of chrome rims, and was wondering how id go about painting them black, and if the finished result (if done properly) looks nice and tidy,
any hints or tips on doin this would be appreciated.

best way is to get them sandblasted, then either get them powder coated or paint them yourself. if it was me i'd get them blasted then paint them. did mine a while ago. came up looking brand new.
