New cruiser

Post by jackaroo02 »

Hi all.

Just wanted to say, I live in Alice Springs and was out of town last week when i passed a new FJ Cruiser! Are they for sale in Aus now, or did I stumble across a new vehicle test?
I do see a few unreleased jap, and european cars being tested out here.
Anyway, from my brief view it looked like a sweet ride, could be a great weekend toy. Shame about IFS front. Looked to have decent clearance tho.

Anounced a while ago- released in australia next year i belive.

Probably got a few over at the moment for ADR compliance and emissions and other crap- or testing a diesel version, The US only got the 4.0 V6, so might be trying a D4D version.

4.5L D4D V8 would go nicely in one

There's a Toyota dealership not far from me that has one parked out the front. I personally reckon it's the ugliest cruiser since the '55.
