Simex 31" Muddies

Post by nicbeer »

Anybody know what they are like. Looking at some cheap 31"s for the zook, looked at the mongrels but not sure on the retreads.

any prices for the simex's would be super as well.

cheers

Nic

PM Basketcase on this site, he ran them on his 4runner for a while, and was selling them (Brisbane) they seemed like a good tyre for a radial, sharp faced lugs, centre lugs like an MTR, outer like a regular mud. They seemed to go alright for a radial.
Built, not bought.

So have you compared the price of the simex to any other muddies? The cheapest ones i've seen is the Kumho I think at about $140 a tire (don't know how true was info from a guy at work). Generally the muddies all have the same sort of block pattern but a different price.

Simex and Kuhmo's are about the $165 mark in Sydney. The simex look much more aggresive.
