hey guys thought i should let you all know about this
Transport and Main Roads will be carrying out safety improvement work at Cunningham's Gap starting Monday, 19 April 2010.
The work is necessary following heavy rain fall in February and March and will involve temporary road closures at the top of the Gap, twice a day from 9 am to 11 am and 1 pm to 3 pm to remove loose material above the highway.
During closure periods, traffic in both directions will be stopped by traffic control, allowing specialist contractors to scale the rock face, assess and remove loose material.
For more information on this work, phone our Logan Office on (07) 3412 0600.

Nope. There is a still a whole week to go. Got a list as long as something long.Bruceh wrote:Well is everyone ready?
So if anyone is reading this thread and thinking of entering, do it. So easy to enter trophy or modified class. Just get your safety gear organised and check you vehicle complys.
Trophy class is basically 4" lift total including body lift and 33's, no lockers, LSD in rear.
Mod class 4" suspension, 2" body, 35s, lockers.
There is more to it than this but basically if your car comes under these guidelines, check it out and have a crack, you'll love it. At least come and check it out and see what the fuss is about.
Hope to see lots of new and familiar faces out there on the weekend.
Cheers
Rick
PS, good luck in mod Bruce, you might need it.

No it is looking pretty sad in my driveway, dave and greg unloaded it from tufftruck and left it their.
The rock doors are still on , helmets in the rain, and it is lucky their is drain holes in the floorpan or the lux would have been full to the roof with water.
i probably should ask them what broke but i have been so busy with work and i might feel guilty for not offering to help fix it
