patrol running gear question

Can I bolt the running gear from a 1985 patrol wagon into a 1991 patrol wagon without any hassles or am I looking at making some mods.

engines are different
gearbox/transfer are different
rear diff different
1985 have off centred rear diff
1991 have centred rear diff
to much stuffin around for the job
1985 are 3.3 diesel,2.8 petrol
1991 are 4.2 diesel,3.0l petrol,2.8 diesel,4.2 petrol
but to answer your question
you could,but u wouldnt

not to mention the 85 model would have to wear the 91's emission controls and compliance to be registrable
