air box should have a water outlet in it any way.

there is a rubber flap on the bottom of the air box to allow water to drain.

Not normally. Use a safari head and some water will expell out the side drains.
A dust bowl with a spinner will catch some water in the top bowl too.

Pfft I run a 4" snorkel running into a custom air box (no water drain) on my Hilux.
Been on for years with no drama's.
Cheers

I dont think you will have any problems unless you stick the hose in the snorkle, All the ones I have fitted have had the water drain glued shut as we have found it to let more water in while submerged for long times than what will come in with rain. You would need to spend hours in the rain to fill an air box on a lux ( or even 1/2 fill it as they lay on their side and the outlet is in the center)
Just my 2 bobs worth

Cheers
