HID SPOTTIES GLOBE (super vision)

Post by Wozza244 »

I have had these for about 6-7 yrs i think and its time to replace the bulbs, but i cant find a retailer anymore. Are these globes in the pics standard or what? Can i adapt some or am i gonna have to dig out the housing, replace it with another globe housing and use another brand?

I'd say the globe is a standard size (H1/H3???), but you might have to snip off the proprietry connectors and fit some quality waterproof connectors (Narva or Quikcrimp).

nah, he meant the fitment style, ie the metal base which is the same as either a H1 or H3 globe

Those connectors look very similar to the HID kits that Jaycar sell. They have replacement globes for around $40 I think...worth checking out your nearest store, take the bulb along.

Those connectors are waterproof. Pretty standard hid globe.
Just do a search on ebay for hid globe, check base styles and away you go.

Bazzle, nothing on ebay with the correct base fitment. Everything i have ever owned and had problems with, is never a standard replacement part i always have a huge drama finding parts!!

PIG 83
There is none of these lights in the online store of BAXTERS that i can find.

Thanks again guys but Jet-6 is on the job for me and is adamant he has it sorted for me.
