Do you know something we dont? :?

Tho I know its a big step up from just taking the photos of the trucks competing to actually being in the drivers seat and aiming on getting
those points! ;)

Might be better off NOT trying to not aim for him... cos you know when you really want to avoid something, thats exactly when you WILL hit it..

spent all day out at the track today with Mark and Andy. All the pre event stuff like getting the bunting up and point markers unfortunatly has to be done last minute but were are there and all pumped for tommorow.

We had lights go into place for testing and we are extremely happy with the results. Courses 1 to 5 will be quite well lit with balloon lights leaving 6 nice and dark

Can't wait so I am gunnna crash ready for an early start in the morning, see ya all there

PS FOCUS JOE :!: :!: :D

the stages looked great under lights  will be keen to see another event under lights. was great to see the buggies having a crack, although with 2 to 3 minutes average per course for the buggies I would love to build some buggy stopper obstacles

anyway off to bed for me

i went to have a look and was really impressed.

Great work guys this has the makings of a great comp series.

i worked till 4.30pm, was at the comp by 5.00, to see some good 4wd action, and was home within 1/2 hour.

its fantastic to have a REAL 4WD comp thats not 2 or 3 hours away!!( for Sydney people that is).

and the location is really good. Standing at the top of the hill, you have 4wds right in front of you, with eastern creek raceway as the back drop. you could hear drag cars in the background, and when the lights went down, drift cars doing there thing down in the background. Really great atmosphere.

Hey Mate,

The first event was just 1 month ago so with the lead time for the mags it means the secone event has been run before there is a chance to have a mag out with covereage from the first, but Rick and the boys and girls from eXtreme mag have been out there both events. There should be some great covereage through these guys soon.

Kamo have lots of footage from the event and we will no doubt see a great DVD getting worked on after they have completed the tuff truck one.

I know the boys have had some set backs with the marketing side but expect to see this rectified. With 2 months till the next event it gives us all a bit more breathing space.

I know the next round allready has more entries again as well as the buggies coming back and the moto trials bikes. We will have some flyers out soon so if anyone has anywhere put them and or hand them out please PM 16em or email 4x4masters@4x4masters.com.au

Cheers

Tiny

On behalf of the bong bong boys, thanks for a fantastic day of wheeling.
We had a blast.Extremely happy with 1st place.
Plenty of good competition and nice trucks.
Night stage was awsome so it would be good to see more of that.
There didnt seem to be much of a running order towords the afternoon but
overall things went pretty smooth .
Congratulations on a job well done. cant wait till the next round

From mid-morning onwards it was non-stop action till around 9 at night - great value for $30 entry!
The motorbikes on the raceway at turn 2 (a few came off!)
The top fuellers over the back of the hill (you could hear them all afternoon - or take a walk to the top of the hill behind the containers and watch from a distance - but only if you could drag yourself away from the 4WD action going on right in front of you!)
The drifters at the front of the raceway pit area - I think they were the controlled drifts? - again, great viewing if you could drag yourself away from the 4WD action
But the real stars of the whole show were the 4WDs...totally awesome entertainment!

Another top day, cooler weather helped. Well done to all the competitors especially Denny and the Bong Bong crew.
From a spectator point of view, being there all day, the only problem i saw was a couple of times the hill was empty but obviously the bikes and more competitors will sort that.
and
I know you got called away for longer than expected BUT get some more songs on that fill in CD, Rick :finger:

As Tiny suggested would be good to see a few major obstacles up the guts for the the Buggies.

Agreed was a top day, no roll overs, only half a dozen recoveries needed for the day due to excellent team work and self recovery....

Made my job easy :D

In saying that, i liked the atmospshere of the whole day, and the weather just held out and stayed nice and cool.

Ive been playing with the truck all day today and most likely tomorrow, getting ready for round 3

The tracks were in the same location but the bunting had been changed up so we drove different lines, a few track mods for the better and some great drives

I think the buggies were a hit thanks boys, thanks to Mal Van for letting me drive his rig at night wow
