Power upgrades for 2005 3.0L rodeo

Post by GRPABT1 »

Hey guys, trying to do a bit of research for my boss. He's just bought a boat and would like some more power out of his 2005 rodeo as cheap as safely possible. Is an exhaust and chip the way to go, or are injector pump and boost mods needed? Which chips are the best value for money and what size exhaust? Can the boost be raised slightly without other mods with just a boost tee or waste gate spring? Any info or links would be greatly appreciated.

They respond well to having chips fitted and a good mandrel bent exhaust system. Power and cheapness don't really go together. But using quality items will make him happy.
