will GQ hubs fit???

got a mate with a GU and he is wanting to change the auto locking hubs for manual locking one's. i have a GQ front diff so we are thinking of just fitting the GQ one's. do they just fit straight on or does the whole swivel hub etc have to be changed???

Hi mate

Yea thet should fit. When i broke one of my manual hubs (gq) i borrowed an auto one off a mates (gu) got me out of trouble and worked fine.

IIRC there is a mod you can do to the auto units
that turns them to basic manual action?

dont forget that there is a left and right side for the auto hubs apparently..?? has something to do with the release on reversing ???
only the first roll hurts, then its a ride..

Yes they fit i have GQ hubs on my GU diff.
