wouldn't it be better to fit an auto lokka $500 or something not that hard to install and better than lsd. Not as good as air locker i know but much cheaper if on a budget. keep us posted mate

4wd systems lokkas are on special this month for $450 for the front of a GQ or GU patrol.

that would be easier than stuffing around with swapping to an lsd.

some R50 pathfinders come out with an H233B rear diff which is what you're looking for, for the front of a Patrol.

Air locker is about $1280 rrp plus fitting and a compressor. Just FYI

did a bit more digging and the H233B diff is found in 85-05 R50 pathfinder 6cylinder vehicles.

Can get a lock right auto locker from the states for $287 + $60 postage ( $347 total to your door) from jeff at www.justdifferentials.com.

But yes my mate has twin lsd. The previous owner intalled the rear diff centre into the front of his shorty mav, so it can be done.

Mq patrol rear lsds will bolt into the front of a GQ as well, though you will need to do a knuckle swap to MQ knuckels as well to move the tie road to the front of the diff as the mq rears are low pinion not high like gqs....

ZD30 powered D22's run the C200 rear diff.

VG30E, VG33E and QD32 powered D22's run the H233B rear diff.
