Ln106 aftermarket chrome grille differences?

Post by 83zook »

Hi i need to get a new grille to replace my smashed one, and i've been looking on ebay and there's a shitload of 2wd ones going for cheap, but all the 4wd ones are like $150? So is there a difference or are they trying to shaft 4wd owners?
Cheers Mitch

i think the way the headlights clip into the grille is diffrent, i know u cant use the 2wd headlight surround with 2wd indicators, and im sure the 4wd headlight surround cant clip into the 2wd grille,

but ive had a few beers tonight

i got told that the grille comes in 3 pieces, 1 the middle bit and the other 2 being headlight surrounds? on ebay the appear to be 1 piece? i've got 4wd corner idicator/parkers and wanna know if a 2wd grille will fit them? due to cost..

i dont understand why or how they can charge double for a 4wd grille compared to a 2wd if they're the same?
