Try doing a search and you'll find heaps of info.

I'm with DGA and they seem really good service wise - although I haven't claimed at all. There's never any problems adding more gear onto the policy and it actually states they will insure any mod that is legal in your state. :D

I'm with TCIS (insurance broker), been happy with them. And I have made a claim (it was within the first 3mths of being with them). My policy was underwritten by CGU then, but is with Suncorp. Getting my car to the it is going to be repaired stage was very short time, this include over the phone claim, quote (from one repairer only - which was my choice) the claims inspector (he knocked back a couple of things but they where old wounds anyway). Then it just took awhile to book it in, then another 6 weeks for them to fix it and give it back. The most time was spent getting the BBar made as you cant buy a PTO winch GQ bar anymore.

Another thing my premium was cheaper after the claim, and kept my rating 1 :)

I just insurance with OAMPS- Bushtrack 4wd. Really good customer service. There premium was great but there cover is a little low. Only give you market value according to Red Book/Glasses (shite) and an extra 25% of that for accessories (roughly). My hilux has had an engine swap.

DGA Offered me almostt twice the cover but the premium was nearly doubled.

Both cover you anywhere in Oz

Tried to get a quote from TCIS but their customer service is pathetic. Must have sent at least 5 or 6 emails and as many phone calls. They said oh yeah we have the quote from the underwritter and will send it immediatley.......2weeks later, nothing. Funny way of saying we cant cover you

thanks for the replies guys. i was with tcis for the last 3 years now and they had been really good up until now. they seem to have switched underwriters(?) or sumthing of late and aren't really trying to get you a good deal. i have just switched to dga instead. tcis used to be alot smaller like there was only 3 ppl in the office 3 years ago but now they are alot more polpular and seem to lack in customer service.
