80 series gauge's
just wondering where have people put after market gauges in there 80 series eg, volts, water temp, battery volt i was thinking about just screwing them to the dash but seems a bit wild thanks
80's :)
keep in mind as well that it is illegal to mount anything in the impact zone so dash and pillars. I realise most people in here wouldn't care as their trucks are probably more illegal than wherever they decide to put guages but its worth a mention. On my old ea falcon i had one mounted on a pillar and used to get pulled over heaps but never mentioned the guage placement usually mentioning the bald tyres and big backend damage.
As long as it looks neat they usually dont worry

yeah maybe incorporate a switch for the gauge lights when you have the headlights on. I know sometimes turning right with the lights on its hard to see around the corner. Am going to put a switch on mine so when im in narrow streets i can turn the gauge lights off, also make them a bit more hidden when you get pulled up. or RBT'd
