GQ CV's
nah mate if you want to do it right put high temp grease in wheel bearings and cv grease in the cv if it was just a quick fix in the bush it dont really matter but i suggest you do it right
93 GQ patrol td42 turbo'd ,auto, 4 in springs, 2 in body 35 claws, front locker & 4.6's, wheelers fabrications bar work all round.........
for the Bearings (Wheel and the kingpin) you need wheel bearing Grease, i use Castrol HTB for these 2 as well as the needle roller bearing inside the stub axel
For the CV you need a CV Grease i use Castrol LMM Ball joint/CV Grease
You can use Bearing grease in the CV as a stop gap if your in the bush and need to get home with a spare CV but don't leave it in there, it won't protect it properlly and you will be breaking that CV sooner than later.
