PTO drive unit

Post by Pony »

Evening all;
Does anyone know where I can source a 10 bolt PTO drive to suit the H151F gearbox, which went with the 1HD-FTE Cruiser motor?
I have tried Advanced Trailer Spares in Brisbane, who used make these winches, however since the new V8's came out with no facility for a PTO drive they have stopped making them.
I also believe that the TD 80 series may have also had the 10 bolt drive. So if anyone has a drive laying around or know where I can purchase one from I would be grateful.
Thanks
Brett

Try some of the Japanese grey import dealers. They usually have vehicles with them as standard in their import list and may be able to source a PTO ex Japan as "spare parts".

Grey import wrecker may help too.

What brand, price and where do you get a pto for an 80 series? Haven't seen many done with these so are they worth it?

My understanding was only the part time 4wd standard wagon (barn door) version of the 80 series had facilities for a PTO drive on the transfer case?

Thanks guys, some good suggestions there to follow up.
It isn't for an 80 series, it is for a 79 series ute, I have the winch and drive shafts, just need the PTO drive.
Thanks

My mistake, i didn't read the details properly in your first post - the std 80 ran the h150f? i think...

not that any of this is particularly helpful unless you're sourcing one through wrecker.

...i'll go to bed now :oops:
