Most people carry the same colour scheme through all their bar work and tray. It can look kinda mismatched if you don't.

Same as your tray or black would work, any other color and as mentioned it would look mismatched.

Just curious as to how much that bar weighs? How thick is the channel you used to mount the winch?

im not sure of the exact weight but i can tell you with the winch in it, it weighs less than a ARB winch bar with a warn in it!
i used all 10mm plates and 40nb tube and the tow hooks are 65 x 20 x 50 and welded behind and in front of main plate!
my welding skills arnt 100% but all welds are strong and had to do heaps of cutting (love my little grinder with thin blades)

id say if yah half handy either a cab chop od bar build isnt all that hard as long as yah take yah time!

oh yeh and become good at grinding back welds

It just looks like the winch cradle is sitting too low and makes the rest of the car look low as well. I think if the winch sat a little higher it would look heaps better and make the front of the car look lifted and the silver makes it all stand out even more. If you painted it a darker colour it would look heaps better and paint the tray darker too. ;)

It does look quite low at the front. I am making a non winch bar at the moment and mine will sit alot higher than that, but as i said mine is a non winch bar. Its difficult to make a low mount fit and still have plenty of ground clearence. Maybe an ARB bar mightn't be a bad idea.

Although the bar looks very strong and quite functional. Maybe take it out one day and give it a try and see if you like its performance.
