XJ spare wheel carrier

Post by zukmeista »

I would like to know if the bumper mounted spare wheel carrier found on the earlier model xj will fit onto the later model one?

The bumpers are a slightly different shape but the mounting is the same, how does the one you're talking about mount. The only factory ones I can think of mount on the body not on the bumper.

Should fit or be easily made to fit but couldn't say 100% it is all the same under there and it probably doesn't mount to the bumper as such anyway as it's just thin tin.
