hi i was wondering what model of landcruiser or car bucket seats will fit straight into my hj47 without using the original bases

not much will, be a custom job,weld your own rails up if you can , or mount the 47 seat rails etc to the new seat.

so i could just buy a set of racing buckets off the internet and make brackets to fit

i drilled holes in the floor and welded some plate underneath with tapped hole for seat mounts and seatbelt mounts so it is up to you on the quality of job you want and just consider if you have a serious accident what is going to restrain you, dont do a dodgy job when it comes to this
