Are you sure? They look pretty well cleared with that hexagonal-ish appearance? :?

I am sure they use a vitara rear where as the TT ones use a sierra rear .. (my memory is not that great though, quite possible I am wrong) ...

I guess if you want the "blingness" of the spidertrax units .. then they are better and have more clearance and can be anodized blue :D

From the spidertrax site:

spdertrax site wrote:The unique design of the octagonal center provides up to 1" more ground clearance then a stock Sidekick rear housing

whereas the pics of the suzanna appear to be a complete sidekick diff housing (perhaps slightly shaved)... :?

TT Suzana is a Vit sized housing and Spidertrax is custom high clearance. IF I stick with Zuk gear, I'll probably get a OVERKILL front diff

but gee Redzook's diff conversion looks

Body is off chassis. Chassis fitted to another Zuk (Hope the new owner enjoys it as much as I did)

Motor and box are in one corner, body is in another and new chassis is in the third corner :D

Planning at this stage:

1) Get body (cage, dash) and suspension (RUF, shackle reversal and lux rears in rear) done asap

2) Do bars (front and rear in exh tube and rocker guards in real steel) and virtual lift

3) Do diffs (shaved vit and OVERKILL front) and tyres (35 x 10.5 boggers or centipedes)

4) Attend "Carnage in the cold" in July and show you punks what a real Zuk can do :finger:

I fixed the quote for you :finger:

Hopefully close to 90 inch

Will be quite a bit lower than yours as I'll be raising the spring mounts on the chassis plus I'll have a GUTTED softop so my COG will be VERY low

Can't recall the guys name .. he is big in the rock crawling circut in the US, has a Zuk on 35's SPOA front and two link rear with air shocks ran very well a couple of seasons ago with with a dana 30 front end ..

And Bill (from brazil) is a crazy man .. he will break the 44's as well .. as he is stepping up to 38's as well from memory ..

I know about Billj breaking axles, I'll get some HD ones when I'm in the States in Sept

Randy Ellis ran a D30 in the front of his rig but it was LIGHT

Mine will be ready (more or less) for carnage in the cold

is the d30 drivers side drop?

chuck, if you're gonna do a diff swap, do it once and get the best one from the start. do no compromise because you will regret later when you have to do it again. who's to say you will only stick to 35s in the far future. plan long term.

That car is so gay, that picture has been on here before, and I argued about the roofrack/cage back then, but hey.... the suzuki guys reckon that its light, you will be fine.

Bikes are light, id hate to have one of them land on my head! If he rolled it properly his esky rack up top would collapse and kill the occupants. Clearly he is just not getting it enough.

Those tyres with no air and alloy wheels, got no bead!!!
But i like that cause he has no respect. But he wheels like a soft rooster.

Hehehe, he musta been real lucky for the last 7 years cruising the malls hehehe

We came across his rig after it flipped backwards into a hottub in Moab. Equivilant of dropping two storeys directly onto it's roof rack. He was winching off a screwdriver that he was holding into the slickrock

The alloy rims have had the the beads built up by TIG welding

Anyhoo I 'm building a "real" cage for mine
