yes already a member on AJOR and have been around Jeeps before just never owned - have already booked with Cal for skyjacker kit and what I'v seen him do with a Jeep and skyjacker is pretty impresive so am happy with that -
one thing that i did want to ask the Jeep guru's is whats the go with a carby feel flat spot and those little throdle body spacers I'v seen on basicly every Jeep - mine is stock so no spacer and feels like a dirty carby flat spot just off idel - ????

Judd, we saw you guys last weekend going into the Brindies. You bought the TJ off Eddie? Madbunyip almost drove off with you guys to see the TJ in action again.
How did you go? We had a nice 5 hour recovery on 3 trucks on the first track.

we went all right, a few recoveries were made (none for my truck but lol) it was the first time i had the truck in that much mud and a decent drive, im fairly new to the brindi's so i dont know alot of places, but we done some power line tracks, went to flea creek, then half the way up thw widow maker/ jeep hill what ever its known as.
5 hour recovery wow, ill have to come out with you guys some time
cheers
OIIIO --- JEEP --- Buy it, wheel it, break it, ebay it, fix it, wheel it --- Its a Jeep thing , You'll understand.
Yes seeing your truck and your mate drive past last week excited me and was the quencher that made my mind up to buy a Jeep, loved it the same when Eddie shopwed up in it - yes we will have to catch up and wheel - the widow maker and Jeep hill were seperate tracks but are both closed and so much has been closed in the Brindies that we kind of stopped going there for a while but the other weekend was awsome and looks as if there are some cool tracks to phucker up, when ever we get chance or next club drive we'll shoot you a PM and let you know then you can come along and meet the crewJudd wrote:Yea i bought Eddies TJ, it is a great truck, drives so well, im heaps happy with it. The throttle body spaces are meant to increase power slightly... it is literally what it says .. a spacer that sits between the throttle body and the inlet manifold.madbunyip wrote:Gudday !!! do I know you??? -zook1515 wrote:that sweet as toby let cal

^^ Example
Meant to be pretty easy .. I've never bothered .. I wouldn't think this would be a WOW upgrade .. just something if your chasing a easy HP gain.
On the carby question .. I've only ever really been around the fuel injected versions of the TJ.

Patriot Blue 2000 TJ - Lifted - Locked - Mudded
- has already had the skyjacker kit fitted - wich included disconnects and am actually fitting a belly up this weekend - am very happy with the build from Caloffroad -itchy666 wrote:Throttle body spacers are overated/junk/snake-oil.
Put some sway bar disconnects on it and a locker or two (maybe a Skyjacker belly-up/crossmember) and it will rock
so the spacer thing is ment to increase power ?? a few people i have spoke to have said it eliminates the flat spot feel - so I guess I will fit and see what it does ? cant loose right ?? if it increases power or gets rid of the flat spot or both I cant go wrong
