The chances of having the one class is big, all because there was less than 10 vehicles in the Touring Class. But yet to be 100% confirmed

Those who choose to drive in the mud do so because they can't drive the rocks.
No point in asking Pricey as he knows nothing official.
I'm saying Willowglen is definately being run over the October Long Weekend, 2nd, 3rd and 4th October.
We will be only running the CCDA Challenge Class. We will only be building the stages to suit The Challenge Class. but you are welcome to enter in a Touring or Trophy Class vehicle.
For more info see www.tlcc.com.
Thanks Tony

Check the ccda specs for the classes required, I'm pretty sure you need to retain rails to the diff but could be wrongnissan_onroids wrote:wat are the rules on chassis rails?? where can they finish coz wanna cut mine off just behind the B piler

They run by CCDA rules so very highly doubt this will change!! Generally speaking rules get tougher, not more relaxedCanberraMav wrote: So is the rules on flares going to be relaxed a bit? I cant really see the sense in this rule.
Very much doubt this either, the tracks are always reasonably tight for the technical side of things. Maybe learn how your truck handles a bit better in tighter situations Soz, couldn't help throwing that inCanberraMav wrote:Tracks going to be wider and turns easier??

Thanks smarty pants.
I just cant actually make some of the turns and it would cost me big $ to sort the steering and better.
I was jus asking as it would be good to see more track difficulty and less emphasis on fitting between flags and tigh turns.
It would see the amount of marshals needed reduced and make the cop flow alot better.
Also lining up in teams would be a great relief to and people would actually be able to watch teammates drive and could move cars for each other

I'd have to say leave it the way it is, Willowglen would have to be one of the best run comps there is! Fair enough a couple of the stages run a bit long sometimes but in all, it all goes pretty smoothly! As long as people keep their vechiles moving in the line up and don't jump spots!
if it has tit's, wheels or a motor you better have money

Dont get me wrong i think Willowglen is great.
What you said about keeping the vehicles moving in the line is exactly what i think is the problem. You cant leave your vehicle all day and therfore dont really get to see other people in your club have a drive.

Hey again, I've competed at Willowglen for the past 5 years now as both driver & navi. We never really had a problem with moving cars, maybe we've been lucky but we've had a chat to the guys infront and behind us each year and just told them to move our car if we weren't there. Everyone generally seems ok with that and you all just keep an eye each others car. Very rarely would I take the keys out of the ignition, but in saying that I also never left anything valuable in there either just incase someone decided to lift anything from it.CanberraMav wrote:Dont get me wrong i think Willowglen is great.

Had to laugh last year when I had to snatch the course marshalls car up the hill going to the start line of the old "Devils Decent" track as he couldn't even make it 1/4 of the way up

My only suggestion is the starting marshall should be briefing the next driver as soon as possible. Not wait until the car that is being recovered off the track is off the track. that would help speed up the day a bit.
Also none of the R word over the weekend would be even better

It seems that a lot of people have a lot of sugestions as to how things may be improved but until the organisers start to take note, none of it will happen. (and some poeple will have to take the average score because of that )
Re: willowglen 2010
Maybe they should start policing the line better to stop the que jumping and the next car to run is the next car on the list not the next in line.
As a matter of cousre I always move cars up and don't jump the line but it only takes a few people to do it and the whole this gets very messy very quickly
