Seirra to hilux diff steering situation

Post by jamie falconer »

Am setting up hilux diffs into my Sierra. Just noticed the push pull drag link setup that runs on the hilux. I want to run jimny or vitara power steering was wondering if I could just fit drop pitman arm and Sierra drag link to a hilux steering shaft and eliminate the hilux steering box and drag link setup

what tyre size are you planning on running?
for 35s+ the hilux power steering box would be way better

I just bought an ifs 4runner/hilux steerbox today.

You may need a custom link?

Or get some highsteer suited to vit/sierra/jimny box with lux diffs from the states (Lowrange) or Locktup in wa to suit Right Hand Drive.

i used a budera p/s box with the bundera top drag link i replaced the left hand tie rod with a lower drag link tie rod which is about 100mm shorter and it was a perfect fit?
