any CAT item from CAT will be expensive, go to repco or a decent auto shop and ask to have a look though the narva catalouge, there is any number of option to choose from

narva have one like those, just a square body, spead type lense, they run a 55w H1 normally, and are quite similar to the work lights on the CAT gear

I'm in the process of looking into some reverse spotties, but I'll be going for some LED's, like a few of these:

just fitted a set of narva 55 watt work lamps to my latest creation. For about 30-35 dollars they are awesome. Just picked them up from the local bursons. Lit up my entire back yard and house, I think 2 was overkill.

I have been running a twin globe (2 55watts) Hella rectangular light which came off some heavy earthmoving vechicle (Mines) when i was workin for an auto electric mob. They were updating so i got it for free! It works extremely well and nice broad light, Narva make one nearly the same so look around they are worth it! Think they are around $70e last i saw them!

Cat lights are "Nordic" brand, can be found for less than $100 at PJL Diesel Electric

You'll need a 12 volt globe.

ah $265 for a pair of spotlights that you want to run as work lights? They are gonna really give you that nice spread beam you want in a rear mounted light right?

I have 4 cat ones here in the swap meet pile. I had them on my patrol ages ago as driving lights for slow speed work, bloody nice light. fully sealed case. and out of memory have vibration dampner built in. the wires attach via studs on the outside, a bit like car amps (stereos).

If your intrested PM me an offer.

Re: Reverse Lights

Are we talking about a reverse light or a work light? I thought a work light should be mounted high for camp/work illumination and a big reverse light was more for bush driving to get a better view behind at night, reversing.

Do people have high work lights which are also wiring to come on in reverse?

I was actually thinking of one of the eBay square 15W LED lights to light up the back for camping/fishing but also mount it so I can turn it to aim under a side mounted awning (not just straight out the back) I am thinking LED mainly to reduce the power usage and since they are more rugged an weigh less.
