suspension height and under body proyection for 80 series

Post by land8079 »

I was wondering if anyone knew of someone who makes up bash plates for the underneath of 80 series cruiser?
Im dropping mine down from a 5inch to a 3inch, will I still be able to run 35's?

Dose anyone know where would be the best place to sell a set of 5inch superiour drop arms, I tried on this site but with no luck.

Many thanks in advance

I believe Brown Davis in bayswater does some underbody protection plates.
I saw some in their showroom a couple of years back.

3 inch should be fine for 35's. It may rub a little off road, but on road you should be right as far as cornering and steering go. As for selling the arms there are other 4wd forums you could try, or use ebay.

knock up a bash plate. or find someone doing fab to make something, doesnt have to be fancy and what exactly do you want to protect?

I am sure if you kept on advertising someone would buy the arms off you, or lower the price?
