75series Tacho

Post by Canyonero 4x4 »

G'day

Late last year I rebuilt my 1HZ and ever since then the tacho hasn't worked.
Hasn't bothered me but it's something I'd like to fix. Is there likely to be a plug somewhere I've missed? I can't seem to find what I want out of the workshop manual.
I've checked the back of the cluster as I had that out too and that appears fine.

Cheers, DAve

If it's the same pick up as the 2H diesel (magnetic pick up on the p.side of the bell housing) it'll be the plug that is on top of the bell housing at the back of the motor. They are known to get crap in them and it may have even been disconnected when you pulled the donk out.
Don't take life too seriously...it isn't permanent.
