city vs country

Post by Mudboy »

I think we all can agree it was another top weekend hosted by the on all 4's club, a special thanks goes to Jamie and Julie for allowing the use of their property for the week, without them the woodpecker style events could not happen.

As mentioned on the weekend the next event that we will be running is the state of origin. Lets see if us NSW boys and drive better than our team plays footy !!!

Cragrats goes to the Zook team who won the event.

I have put a few pics below mainly from the last stage. A Rather flat track but not too easy only 5 cars were able to complete it.

I will add more pics during the day

Fantastic event, great tracks, great people  Tjr weather was a little cold at night but magic during the day.

Thanks to Jamie, Julie and all the On All 4's crew for putting on the event. Without people like you we would all be at home polishing our show 4x4's.

Congrats to the country guys.

So when do City get another crack at the title  :?:

What a great weekend. Weather was great even if it was a little cold at night. Congrates to all my fellow country teammates for our win over city. Bring on next year I say. Had a great time punting the Datto around, even if it was slightly out of its element. Maybe some changes for next year. To Jamie, Julie and family thanks for another great weekend at your place and heres to many more to come. To the ON ALL 4'S club thanks for putting on another great event. And lastly to the City guys see you next year for the rematch. Was fun way to pass the longweekend with a bunch of great like minded people.

Great comp guys well done by all involved  . Big thanks to Jamie & Julie and the On All 4's members.
Now for the country & city guys it was nice to see to very basic budget zook's give to all you guys all weekend  . Yes I can hear you already budget with stickys tyres blah blah blah. Yes stickeys he borrowed and had never driven on with STOCK yes STOCK lux diffs with no cromo anything inside and a leaf sprung front end to go with it . But it was a huge team effort with the lwb leaf spung zook behind. with his worn out mtr 35's. you want best drive how about his drive on sunday getting 290 out of the 300 for the day. Only points lost from the winch he had to do due to no roll cage. By far some of the best driving I have seen in a comp in years with the only damage for the two cars being bent sill bars. WELL DONE GUYS

I would like to thank all the competitors, volunteers, & On All 4's 4wd Club for one of the best 4wd events I have been involved with in the last 12 years of competitions. The drivers & navigators got a real work out with 5 very difficult stages. Two vehicles made it up the infamous Waterfall with out a winch. The first place Suzuki of Phil Woodhurst done it without any assistance whatsoever & PK with his GU ute done it with a couple of fellows on a strap. Top effort guys.

The day after the event we went for a clean-up, however, there was hardly any rubbish to be picked up on the 5 stages or the camping ground. Thanks everyone for cleaning up themselves and respecting the use of my property.

This sort of behavior will benefit all 4wders and prompt me to host more events on my property.

We all have to agree that the weekend was fun, relaxing and challenging. Not to mention, at all political.

This will be my last post for City v's Country 2010 on Outers, however stay tuned for next year.

Now if you want to go to the other post, NSW v's QLD, look for regular up-dates.

Congratulations, Country on a well deserved win.

GO CITY 2011, Jamie
