So im throwing around the idea, wondering if anyone can tell me if i am pushing shit up hill. main thing that i can see as being a problem is mating the motor to the box. looking at the 2H because they're cheap to buy, from what ive read here on a couple of threads they can be relitivly good to run with fuel costs.
want a diesel because of the relitive low maintenence and siplicity because the lux is going to see alot of k's around aus.if i can make this setup work i think this motor would best fit my criteria of cheap, reliable andf decent power without chewing 20ltrs to the hundred. if anyone has done anythoing like this can they give me some idea's.
tossed up so many ideas now on what engine to run this seems the best idea.

Re: 2H to hilux box
Best i've seen is a 3b in a hilux. I'm not sure a 2h would fit, and if it did, the radiator would not be in the engine bay. A 1hz maybe, if you had an R gearbox
You should also consider that 2h performance is pretty much on par with a 3l.

The worst part about being told you have Alzheimer's, is that it doesn't just happen once.
