fj40 front windscreen surround

im just about to spray my fj40 when i found a heap of rust eating out the bottom of my orignal windscreen surround so now im going to replace it with a fibreglass unit but because my front windscreen is'nt in the best condition im now thinking that i want to replace the front windscreen. would anyone know of anyone in sydney that makes a replacement windscreen or that with make one and what would somthing like that cost?

You mean a supplier for just the glass? Pretty much any windscreen supplier will be able to supply you one. Not sure on price, I imagine anywhere from $100 to $250, ring around.

try and get a tint top the help cut a bit of sun out
71 fj40 front shackle reversal +3" , 55 rear springs +3", 35 15.5 claws , 60 diff's 4wheel disc's , SOON TO BE WINDSOR V8 + 5 speed
74 fj40 stock but very clean
84 bj40 3b stock and unloved

I have a fibreglass windscreen surround that i have not used in the shed if you want to buy it, its an FRP brand, just pm me.
I guess three diamonds is better than two feet.

Be carefull with getting the correct windscreen for the surround. A windscreen in the surround with wipers at the top is differant to the one with wipers at the bottom.

Just leave it.
having bog around the bottom of the windscreen is the new black.
same as not being able to fold it down anymore.
dont be fooled by expensive imitations, bog it up and never look back.

Yep.. Any auto Glass repairer can supply and fit glass and new rubbers. you will have to tell them if you need the rubber other than that.. easy.. I had windscreens obrein replace the old glass in my 40 last year it cost me $100 and was done in 30 mins....

I've got a windscreen in a panel (rusty) you can have for 30 big ones - if you're keen i'll check it make sure it's still good (chips) as it's buried under the house.... I'm in wollongong btw.... pm if you're interested.
