Warn high mount winch blocking radiator air flow.

Just picked up a new winch and realised this may efect air flow to the radiator car is a 4.2 turbo diesel gq,just wondering if anyone has had overheating dramas after fiting a highmount in a chezzy bar.

I added a high mount to my GU 4.2 with a custom tube bar and noticed little if any difference.
Try it and see I Guess.

Hey linc, the cheezy bar tilts forward so you get plenty of air in there. If you do see a difference then put some shrouding between your grill and the radiator to channel as much of the air to your radiator as you can. Its not like having lights there that generate heat unless you have just used your winch and even then it cools down pretty fast.

you shouldnt notice any difference i have 2 water tanks behind the grille of my gq for water to air intercooling and i have a highmount and spot lights and i dont think it has changed it much if at all
white gq wagon with some stuff here and there
