Ipod Conect 2 Factory Stereo

Post by CRUIZED »

So I bought one of these units to run the Ipod through the factory Toyota stereo

http://caripodcables.com.au/index.php?m ... cts_id=209" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
(YATOUR BRAND)

thought this should be easily done. Simply plug it into the back of the factory stereo -6 stacker jack and away we go :bad-words:

shows that its charging the ipod and when u have tunes playing on the ipod screen cant get any sound out through the stereo speakers .
my stereo doesn't have an auxilary button so I use the cd button which is for the 6 stacker still no tunes

any ideas much appreciated

in standby mode if possible try and select the menu and see if you can turn the aux option on. jvc, kenwood and sony aftermarket head units (if they have aux points) will give the option of them on or off in the menu screen only viewed when the unit is on standby
